LATHE BUILDING AND BOWL TURNING
Build a bowl lathe that can be taken away with you, and learn to turn beautiful bowls with Yoav Elkayam. We will provide all the materials needed to build your own bowl lathe, and by the end of the course you will have the skills required to continue turning beautiful bowls whenever you please!
Several of our course members have sent their lathe home by courier, so even if you don't arrive by car, we can get your lathe safely home for you at the end of the course. So far, we have sent lathes to the UK, Northern Ireland and Sweden with the cost of transit ranging from around £50-£75.
BOWL TURNING AND TOOL FORGING
We also run an "improvers weekend", aimed at people who already have a lathe or access to a lathe, and some experience in bowl turning. During the weekend, we will focus on more advanced turning techniques, and also hook tool forging and sharpening.
On both these courses, you will have plenty of time to soak up Yoav's knowledge and explore the art of bowl turning.
